I stand firm
Yet I let the world snow on me

I stand firm
Yet I let the world evaporate down my sides

I stand firm
Tall and rough
Letting the sun touch me

I stand firm
Solid and strong
Letting the winds strip off my edges

I stand firm
Weak and cold
High and alone

I stand firm
Seeing all that is beneath me
Witnessing the world around me

I stand firm
Yet fragile I am

Standing firm and being strong doesn’t define as not showing emotion nor does it define as not caring or shedding a tear.
Standing firm and being strong comes in all shapes, sizes, forms, and emotions.

Just as a mountain stands firm; the mountain, also still breaks away…
